This website is operated by RM TRAVEL LTD, company number 14127172, 30 Broom Crescent S60 2SS ("RM Travel", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

02Data we collect

We only collect the data we need to provide our service:

  • Booking details: name, phone number, email address, pick-up and drop-off addresses, dates, times, flight numbers, number of passengers and luggage.
  • Contact form and messages: your name, email, phone number and the content of your message, including messages sent by WhatsApp.
  • Payment: card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
  • Website usage: if you accept analytics cookies, anonymous information about how you use the website. See our cookie policy.

03How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • quote for, arrange and carry out your journey;
  • contact you about your booking, including changes or delays;
  • reply to your enquiries;
  • take payment and keep accounting records;
  • meet our legal obligations as a licensed private hire operator;
  • improve our website, where you have consented to analytics cookies.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing without your permission.

04Legal basis

Under UK GDPR we rely on: contract, to provide the journey you book; legal obligation, to keep the booking records required by our licensing authority and for tax; legitimate interests, to answer enquiries and run our business; and consent, for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.

05Who we share it with

We only share your data where needed to provide the service, with:

  • our drivers, who receive the details needed for your journey;
  • our booking system provider, FareBookings, which processes bookings on our behalf;
  • our payment provider, to process your payment;
  • our email, hosting and IT providers;
  • the licensing authority or the police, where the law requires it.

06How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as required by our private hire operator licence and by tax law, and then delete them. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

07Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

08Security

Our website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to booking data is limited to the people who need it to provide your journey.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
